Panther Robotics Posts 15 Season Victories

Park Tudor's Middle School robotics team, Panther Robotics, has had a wonderful last few weeks. On Saturday, January 21, Team Stink Eye (Matthew Bender, Logan Miller & Yash Dandamudi) won the Zionsville VEX Robotics Tournament, earning a spot in the Indiana VEX State Championships later this month where they will join Panther Robotics Team Pig Pen and Team Xena.

Last weekend, Panther Roboitcs brought home four more awards. Both Team Pig Pen (Zach Phelps & Humza Raza) and Team Xena (Ahmed Athar, Oscar Stuart & Will Morris) won the tournament champions award. In addition, Team Pig Pen also won the robot skills award and the highest honor in VEX Robotics, the Excellence Award. Panther Robotics had a great showing, and Coaches DJ Weymuth and Sheldon Phelps were pleased to have all four competing teams make it to the semi-finals. These wins take the Panther Robotics 2016-2017 season award total to 15.

This Saturday, Panther Robotics will host 40 VEX Robotics Teams from around the state for the second Park Tudor Tournament in Clowes Commons. Admission to the tournament is free and visitors are welcome! We hope to see you there between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
